Bangkok, after it’s second and most successful year so far, IMPACT and TSPA will join forces again to host the 3rd World Spa & Well-being Convention (WSWC 2014). More than previous years this regional spa & wellness event will draw together global and regional professionals from the spa, health & wellness industries.
For years industries have been preparing for the completion of the ASEAN Economic Community in 2015, and the spa & wellness industry isn’t any different. Innovations and educational options will be highlighted in concert with the important role of the spa business for the continued growth of the tourism industry in the region. For the first time the event will be held in conjunction with Beyond Beauty ASEAN Bangkok which makes it not only increase in size, but in International coverage and attendees as well.
9,967 visitors and 95 exhibitors experienced last year’s edition of World Spa & Well-being Convention 2013, and will see the theme “Water” of 2013 transfer into the “Earth” theme for 2014. The “Earth” element is defined by patience, thoughtfulness, practicality and hard work. It is also nurturing and seeks to draw all things together with itself, in order to bring harmony, rootedness and stability. This is perfectly in line with what the spa & well-being industry is bringing to the world. The repeating 2-day congress representing a number of industry professionals and technical experts from around the world plays an important role in those ideals and will also provide a wealth of information vital to spa & well-being industry professionals.
Being a 3-day exhibition and a 2-day seminar, WSWC 2014 is the perfect platform to give exhibitors and business leaders a myriad of opportunities to network, build business connections and be inspired by the non-stop innovation our industry brings forward. During these days TSPA is also organising the prestigious Thailand Spa & Wellbeing Awards, a unique event where the key players of the Thai Spa industry get their well deserved recognitions. Other side activities including Elemental Registration, Education Village, Spa Concierge, Spa Study Tours, and Business Matching opportunities completing the 3-day offer.
Andrew Jacka, Chairman of the WSWC Organising Committee mentioned that with Thailand being the hub of the ASEAN region, and approximately half of the world’s population and at least a third of the worlds spas only a short flight away, the organising committee are extremely pleased to be building on past efforts and further expanding the industry education, standards and innovations which will be showcased for the world to see, and from which the industry can further grow and develop, while for the first time being held in conjunction with Beyond Beauty ASEAN-Bangkok 2014 brings in a wealth of opportunities for exhibitors and visitors alike.
